This board is purely for discussion of current affairs and world issues. The moderation will ONLY get involved in disputes if invited. Any party to a dispute (including readers) may contact the moderator and make a complaint. Instigators of personal attacks will most probably be removed from the board if a complaint against them is proven. I have put together a broad committee of members who will vote whether a post is in contravention of the principle rule - the decision will be made on a qualified majority - and will be binding. Another change is that the board is not a forum for incessant Republican vs Democrat - or Conservative vs Liberal rows. There are many fine boards where this is encouraged - 500 Citizens is an international board and, where possible, should avoid entrenched partisanship within single countries. No subject will be prohibited- but courtesy should be shown to all members by keeping threads accessable to all. Spam is expressly prohibited - Whilst Ryze is a business networking site - the board is not an appropriate forum for these activities. Posters of spam or MLM material will have their post (and membership of the board) removed. If you are offended by political or ideological ideas or opinions that differ from your own - I urge you not to be a member of 500 Citizens. I also warn you that language is a tool that will be used robustly on 500 Citizens - so likewise - if you are offended by the use of words that you may consider as profanity - please do not join. |
